Description: This stacked bar chart shows the maximum transfer capacity of current inter-provincial electricity transmission lines and projected new transmission capacity additions in the Global Net-zero scenario of EF2023. The projected new capacities are added by 2035. The current and projected inter-provincial line capacities are shown by major transmission line corridors. The combined inter-provincial transmission capacity is projected to increase by 27 per cent, from 12,950 MW to 16,445 MW by 2035.
